Privacy Policy

PeopleTeam.IO, LLC runs this website. This notice explains what we collect through peopleteam.io and its forms, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

What you send us. Our forms send only what you type in. Depending on the form, that can be your message, the reason you're getting in touch, your name, your email address and your organization. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

What your browser sends. Like any website, ours receives basic technical details when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type and the page that sent you here. Framer, which hosts the site, uses these to deliver pages, keep spam out of our forms and count visits.

Please leave health information, employee records, passwords and other confidential information out of forms and emails. If you need to share something sensitive, ask first and we'll agree on a secure way to send it.

How we use it

We use what you send only to:

• reply to you and, if you ask, set up a conversation

• keep a record of our correspondence

• keep this site working and protect it from spam and misuse

We don't use it for advertising. We won't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for or send you a sequence of automated follow-ups.

Site traffic

We count visits with Framer's built-in analytics. It doesn't use cookies or any other identifier stored on your device. To count unique visitors, Framer scrambles your IP address and browser details with a key that changes every day. It doesn't store anything that identifies you, and the same visitor can't be recognized from one day to the next. More detail is on our Cookies page.

Who handles it for us

Two services handle website information on our behalf:

• Framer hosts this website and receives what you send through a form.

• Google Workspace runs our email, where form messages are delivered and kept.

Both work on our instructions under data protection terms with us. Our Subprocessors page lists every service we use across our work.

We'll also disclose information if the law requires it, or where it's needed to protect our rights or someone's safety. If PeopleTeam.IO is ever merged or sold, this information would move with the business and remain covered by this notice.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. There are no advertising trackers on this site, and no other company collects information about your browsing across websites through it.

Do Not Track

This site doesn't track you across other websites and doesn't let anyone else do so. That means Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals don't change how the site behaves: there's nothing for them to turn off.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up. If a conversation doesn't lead to work, we delete it within 24 months. If it does, it becomes part of our client records, and we keep it for as long as our contract and the law require.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you

• correct it

• delete it

Write to privacy@peopleteam.io. You don't need a reason or any particular wording. We may ask you to confirm the request comes from you, and we'll reply within 30 days. When we delete your information, we delete it from our email, ask Framer to remove any copy it holds, and tell you when it's done. If the law requires us to keep something, we'll tell you what and why. Asking will never change how we treat you.

If you're in the EU or UK

We use your information because we have a legitimate interest in answering the messages people send us, or because you've asked us to take steps toward working together. Along with the choices above, you can ask us to limit how we use your information, object to it, or give you a copy in a portable format.

We're based in the United States, so your information is handled there. Our service providers protect international transfers with Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to your local data protection authority or, in the UK, to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site is meant for businesses. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, write to us and we'll delete it.

Security

We protect what you send with the controls described on our Security page. No website or email system is completely secure, which is why we ask you to keep sensitive details out of forms and emails.

Client data in engagements

This section is about consulting work, not this website. If you're only reading the site, it doesn't apply to you.

We do work inside client Workday tenants, on accounts the client creates, grants and controls. We never use credentials of our own or access the client hasn't configured, so the client can review, reduce or switch off our access at any time, without asking us.

When an engagement ends, we delete or return the client data we hold that contains sensitive, confidential or personal information, as our contract with that client sets out. We keep our own business records, such as contracts, invoices and correspondence, for as long as the law requires. What we keep from the work itself is our working knowledge: how we approached a problem and the methods we'd use again. Where the contract and this notice differ on client data, the contract applies.

The website forms don't connect to any Workday tenant.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top, which shows when the current version took effect. If a change is significant, we'll also say so at the top of this page.
